The brief.
Take a luxury condominium back to its structure and refinish it throughout in modern European architectural finishes, inside a building with its own rules about when and how work happens.
A full interior renovation of a luxury condominium in Yorkville, taken back to its structure and refinished in modern European architectural finishes. Its standout finishes are the fireplace wall we built in black and gold veined marble, select marble slabs in the ensuite, herringbone flooring, natural veneer millwork and custom European interior doors.

Structure and layout. With protection and daily cleaning through the work, we stripped the rooms to the structure, took out 4 large sliding glass doors, built a new wall behind the refrigerator to enlarge the kitchen and expanded the kitchen ceiling.
Kitchen. We removed the old cabinets, counters, backsplash and floor tile, managed the installation of the new cabinetry and appliances, an all-refrigerator among them, relocated the sink water and drain, and fitted a new sink, faucet and filtration system.
Stone and slabs. We fabricated and installed the perimeter counter, the island and a full backsplash in 12 mm porcelain, 4 slabs in all, set the ensuite's marble slabs, and clad the new fireplace wall in marble.
Floors and doors. We laid herringbone flooring and new kitchen floor tile, and fitted custom European interior doors and hardware.
Lighting and electrical. We installed 72 low voltage pot lights, a magnetic track lighting system in the kitchen, sensor lighting and Legrand smart home electrical devices throughout, with dedicated power for the freezer, the oven and the warming drawer, and for the under cabinet and glass cabinet lights.
Millwork and details. Natural veneer millwork, a custom closet millwork panel, painted window frames and custom made HVAC diffusers complete the rooms.
The work ran inside a luxury condominium building with its own rules about when and how work could happen, and every stage was planned around them. The finishes left no margin either: large format tile does not forgive, so each tile was set by 2 tile setters at once, keeping the floor flat across every joint.
