The practice.
We are a Toronto custom builder working in European architectural finishes. We are not built for volume, and we do not chase it. We take on a small number of projects at a time, so that each one receives the full attention of the practice.
The work
Considered together, never separate.
The truest account of what we do is the work itself. The portfolio shows it. This page is only the frame around it.
Our work spans residential renovation, new homes built from the ground up, and office and commercial finishing. Some clients come to us with a lot and a blank page. Others come with a house they already love and rooms that no longer serve them. Either way the standard is the same: architecture and finish considered together, never left to separate hands.
Character
One team, start to finish.
What sets us apart is character: the attitude we bring to a project and the full commitment we hold to it, from the first drawing to the one-year follow-up. Continuity is the consequence of that commitment. One team carries the project the whole distance, and the people who open a project are the same people who close it. The site is never quietly handed to people you have not met. Call it white glove if you like; we think of it simply as staying present, from the first site visit until long after you have moved in. There are no disappearing acts.

The showroom

Materials and craft are best understood in person, which is why our showroom on Dufferin Street holds finish samples and completed assemblies. What a photograph begins, a sample held in the hand settles. The showroom is the right place to begin, whether your project exists only as an idea or is already being priced.
